Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience of a user in an image display system including a remote controller. SOLUTION: Two first remote controllers 200 and 300 are attached to one projector 100 in a projection system 10. The first remote controller 200 includes radio/wire communication functions, and an image display function by the projector 100 and the function for setting and maintaining the operation conditions of the projector 100 are allocated. Only a basic function related to an image display by the projector 100 is allocated to the second remote controller 300. Consequently, the convenience of each user can be improved by properly using the remote controllers 200 and 300 in the user (an installation operator or the like) familiar to the operation of the projector 100 and an end user unfamiliar to the operation of the projector 100.
