VIDEO AUDIO RECORDING REPRODUCING APPARATUS AND VIDEO AUDIO REPRODUCING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video audio data recording reproducing apparatus capable of outputting both video data and audio data so as to synchronize with each other even if the video data and the audio data are differently managed by frame. SOLUTION: The video data and the audio data differently recorded per frame in a recording medium 11 are read by a video reading section 12 and an audio reading section 13 respectively. A control section 18 causes a storing section 115 to store a count value when the read video data reach a video buffer 17 and a count value when the read audio data reach an audio buffer 112. The control section 18 determines a delay time of each of the buffers 17 and 112 based on the count values stored in the storing section 115.
