Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program recommendation device that recommends a program to be reproduced among video-recorded programs, according to user's preference and interest, even when the video-recorded programs do not have program information or property information, in advance. SOLUTION: The program recommendation device includes scene property extracting means (24, 32) for extracting properties of scenes, as parts of a video and audio content; frequency distribution obtaining means (25, 15) for counting generation frequencies of extracted properties of scenes by the scenes to find frequencies of the extracted properties; and recommended program selecting means (42) for recommending a video/audio content to be recorded or reproduced, based on the frequency distribution obtained by the frequency distribution obtaining means (25, 15).
