Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element having superior photoelectric conversion efficiency. SOLUTION: The tandem type photoelectric conversion element (TP) has two to four photoelectric conversion elements (P) each having a photoelectric conversion layer (E) containing a conductive high polymer (d) and an electron acceptor (a), laminated between two electrode layers (Y) layered on a substrate (T), wherein at least two photoelectric conversion elements (P) are different in maximum absorption wavelength, a half-value width of an absorption band of a photoelectric conversion element (P) is ≤150 nm, and the difference in energy level value between the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital of the conductive high polymer (d) and the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital of the electron acceptor (a) in each photoelectric conversion layer (E) is ≤1 eV.
