Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic toner and a method for manufacturing the toner, wherein a photochromic material is stably contained into a binder resin and thereby uniformly dispersed, resulting in excellent durability. SOLUTION: The toner is obtained by kneading a raw material mixture containing a photochromic compound and a polyester resin, pulverizing and classifying the kneaded material, wherein the photochromic compound and the polyester resin show dehydration condensation reaction.
