Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper alloy for an electronic appliance having excellent strength and workability. SOLUTION: The copper alloy is composed of a two-phase alloy having a composition comprising one or two or more of additional elements selected from the group consisting of Fe, Nb, V, Ta and Cr, by mass, by 7 to 20% in total, and comprising one or two or more trace elements selected from the group consisting of Co, Ni, Mg, Sn, Ag, Zr, Cd, P, In, Ti and Si by 0.05 to 1% in total, and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities, and the containing ratio of the trace amounts in the second phase including the additional elements is ≤0.5%.
