Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound for an organic emission layer, having excellent characteristics. SOLUTION: The improved electroluminescence efficiency of this organic emission diode is obtained using an emission layer containing an organic metal complex of a transition metal represented by formula L2MX (wherein L and X are different bidentate ligands). The compound of this formula can be synthesized much easier than by the current method, and it is possible to insert a fluorescent molecule into the phosphorescent complex by free selection of the synthesis and to insert thereinto a ligand for trapping a carrier or a ligand for fine control of the emission color.
