Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a heat exchanger by which the water tightness of a passage of cooling water can sufficiently be obtained, and joining machining cost can be reduced by using an aluminum die-casting light in weight and superior in productivity. SOLUTION: The method includes a friction stir welding process and a machining process in which a contact face with a power module 1 is formed in a face of a friction stir weld zone 22. A part 57 for use in joining is provided in which a friction stir welding portion of an aluminum die cast lower case 5 is made higher than other casting surface portions, thereby reducing machining expense in the casting surface portions of the machining process.
