REMOTE CONTROLLER FOR IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user-friendliness in utilizing a remote controller of an image display device. SOLUTION: A projector 100 includes an operation panel 220 and a switching section 230 for switching the contents of display of the operation panel 220 according to selection by a user. A switching button 231 is associated with functions for users not familiar with operation of the projector 100. A switching button 232 is associated with functions for users having mediate-level proficiency for the projector 100. A switching button 233 is associated with functions for users having high-level proficiency enough to handle all of the functions including maintenance of the projector 100. When any of the switching buttons 231, 232, 233 is pressed, an operation button allotted to the functions associated with the pressed switching button is displayed on the operation panel 220.
