KNOB DIALING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knob dialing device of which intensity of light appearing on a light-emitting face of the dial part is not changed even if front-and-rear positions of the dial part are changed. SOLUTION: Inside a knob body 11 taking on a cylindrical shape opening back and forth, a translucent light guide member 12 having a cylindrical shape with its front-end face to be a light-emitting face 12a exposed forward and its rear-end face to be an incident face 12b vertical in a back-and-forth direction is fitted in, and a front opening of the light guide member 12 is blocked with a knob lid 13 to constitute an knob part 1. A rear face of the knob lid 13 is mounted on a movable part 22 of a retaining part 2 alternately changing over between a state positioned in front and a state positioned in the rear each time it 22 is pressed back toward a body part 21, the retaining part 2 is mounted on an operating shaft 31 of a rotary encoder 3 having the shaft 31 protruded in free rotation, and a light-emitting body 4 having directivity of making light incident nearly vertically to the incident face 12b is arranged at the rear of the incident face 12b of the light guide member 12.
