Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide environment-friendly driving assist information corresponding to the driving skill (driving characteristics) of a driver. SOLUTION: The method of assisting environment-friendly driving includes: acquiring vehicle information from a vehicle; diagnosing, on the basis of the acquired vehicle information, whether fuel is excessively consumed, when the driver drives the vehicle, due to a factor causing excessive consumption of fuel of the vehicle; specifying an excessive consumption spot at which the vehicle is likely to excessively consume the fuel on the basis of the result of the diagnosis made by the driver; determining driving characteristics of the driver from the diagnostic result; selecting a warning spot to be notified to the driver from the excessive consumption spot based upon the driving characteristics; and notifying the driver of the selected warning spot.
