ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device which achieves a stable stop control regardless of the load of a paper conveyance motor. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic device includes: paper conveyance mechanisms 8 and 9 which convey continuous paper 7; the paper conveyance motor which drives the paper conveyance mechanisms 8 and 9; a position detection means which is attached to the paper conveyance motor; a position command input means for the paper conveyance motor; and a paper conveyance motor stop control means which performs the stop control of the paper conveyance motor for setting paper at a fixed position by deciding a deviation amount of a position of the paper conveyance motor obtained by comparing output from the position detection means with output from the position command input means, and length of driving time and a driving direction according to the deviation amount of the position of the paper conveyance motor detected in a control cycle set in advance other than when conveying the paper. In the control of the paper conveyance motor of the electrophotographic device, the period of the driving time is set in accordance with whether the paper is loaded. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
