SIMPLE TOILET FOR ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple toilet for an elevator high in convenience in use and reliability. SOLUTION: The simple toilet Z comprises a lower stage unit 1 with the interior usable as an equipment storage chamber 61, and an upper stage unit 2 detachably placed on the upper face side of the lower stage unit 1. A waste container 4 is enclosed on the lower side of a toilet seat plate 22 provided on the upper face side of the upper stage unit 2, while a seat body 3 is detachably mounted on the upper face side of the toilet seat plate 22 to cover it. With this constitution, the simple toilet Z can be effectively used as a chair by sitting on the seat body 3. A person shut up in a gondola 100 by the emergency stop of the elevator can relieve himself or herself by removing the seat body 3 and sitting on the toilet seat plate 22, and after relieving himself or herself, the seat body 3 is mounted to restrain the diffusion of odor while being usable for relieving himself or herself again.
