VENT PIPE IN STORAGE TANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vent pipe in a storage tank which is capable of suppressing flow-in of outside air while maintaining a function of keeping the same pressure inside the tank as the pressure outside the tank. SOLUTION: The vent pipe 1 is provided on a roof R of the storage tank T, and includes a vent pipe body 2 with its base end being fixed to the storage tank T and its front end being bent downward below the level, and a cover part 10 provided on the front end of the vent pipe body 2. The cover part 10 includes a cylindrical cover body part 11 arranged so as to surround the front end of the vent pipe body 2, and a blocking plate 12 which is located on the front side of a front end opening part 2a of the vent pipe body 2, and arranged orthogonal to the axial direction CL in the front end opening part 2a of the vent pipe body 2. Even when strong wind blows the vent pipe 1, the possibility of invasion of the outside air into the vent pipe body 2 can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
