Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compact machining equipment including a machine tool and a multiple joint robot. SOLUTION: The machining equipment 100 includes the machine tool 10, a workpiece pallet 70 and a gantry rail 120 provided over the machine tool 10. The multiple joint robot 130 running on the gantry rail 120 includes a two-separation electron line speed monitoring function. The function is used to control a movable range D2of the multiple joint robot 130 inside a front cover 11 of the machine tool 10 to downsize a safety fence 180. Such a constitution allows an operator to open/close a door 12 of the machine tool 10 or operate a control panel 16 while the multiple joint robot is working, and an installation space of the equipment can be downsized.
