OPEN SHOWCASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open showcase where both cooling performance in display chambers and the exhibition of merchandise stored in the display chambers are improved. SOLUTION: The showcase includes: a first display chamber 1R and a second display chamber 2R obtained by vertically dividing a showcase body 1 into two front and rear chambers with the use of a partition plate 10; a first duct 11 and a second duct 12 arranged in the respective display chambers and on both sides of the partition plate; upper ventilation passages 21 which communicate with the upper ends of the respective ducts and blow and guide cold air downward from blowing ports 24 for air curtains arranged at the upper ends of the respective display chambers; bottom ventilation passages 25 which communicate with the lower ends of the respective ducts and suck the cold air from cold air suction ports 28 arranged close to the lower ends of the respective display chambers; evaporators 30 constituting freezing cycles S in the respective bottom ventilation passages; and cold air blowers 31 for blowing the cold air to the respective ducts via the evaporators.
