Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute an access network charging identifier between network elements, which is sent in order to enable charging correlation at the same component level for charging events related to the same SIP session and generated in different domains in an IMS network including a 3GPP mobile communication network. SOLUTION: In a method for supporting a communication session of user equipment by means of a communication system comprising at least one entity between the user equipment and a node, (a) a session between the user equipment and the node is established through at least one entity; (b) the session is put on hold; (c) resources for the session are reserved while the session is on hold; and (d) the session is resumed and charging information is distributed.
