RADIOLOGICAL IMAGE READER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly convey a plate type image recording body using a simple constitution, and to correctly read a radiological image recorded on the image recording body. SOLUTION: The radiological image reader 100 for reading radiation-exposed image recorded on a plate-type image recording body P includes: a recording body support part 110 supporting a recording surface of the image recording body P by cylindrical surfaces 111A to 111D; a conveying part 120 conveying the image recording body in an axial direction R of the cylindrical surface, while pressing the recording surface of the image recording body P against the cylindrical surfaces 111A to 111D of the recording body support part 110; and a reference guide 113A, provided on the cylindrical surfaces 111A to 111D and used, in such a state that the side edge of the image recording body P is butted thereagainst during conveyance. Then, readout and erasure of the radiological exposed image recorded on the conveyed image forming body P are performed continuously. Thus, conveyance mistakes of the image recording body P are prevented, and omission or damage to recording during reading the image is prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
