BOOM MOUNTING APPARATUS AND MOUNTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boom mounting apparatus and mounting method facilitating mounting of a boom through an adapter to a bracket of an upper structure and securing strength without increasing the wall thickness of a pin connecting part. SOLUTION: Left and right legs 34, 35 of the adapter 7 are inserted between rising plate parts 13a, 13b and between rising plate parts 14a, 14b of the bracket 4 respectively. Recesses 39a of positioning means 39 are placed on tip parts of pins 10 projected between the rising plate parts 13a, 13b and between the rising plate parts 14a, 14b. Boom mounting pinholes 15 and connecting pinholes 36 corresponding to the boom cylinder mounting pinholes respectively are thereby concentric. In this concentric state, the pins 10 are inserted in the pinholes 15, 36. In another form, positioning is performed by placing the recesses 39a on bushes for fitting the pins 10.
