ARTICLE STORAGE BOX STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate handling of a cable for connecting an external memory means to an audio unit in a storage box when the external memory means is stored in the storage box provided adjacent to the audio unit. SOLUTION: Left and right side walls of the storage box 13 provided adjacent to the audio unit include a first side wall 13a forwardly extending from a left side of a box opening part 13g; and a second side wall 13b extending from a front end of the first side wall 13a to a right oblique front side. Since the cable 23 connected to the external memory means 25 is led out from the audio unit into the storage box 13 via the second side wall 13b, bending of the cable 23 can be made loose as compared with the case where it is temporarily led out from the side wall parallel to the box opening part 13g into the storage box 13. Thereby, not only handling of the cable 23 in the storage box 13 can be facilitated but also stress received by the cable 13 by bending can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
