WIRELESS COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, MOBILE STATION, AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve throughput by positive output of an acknowledgement (retransmission request) from a receiving-side apparatus (information processor or mobile station) while effectively utilizing specification functions without deviating from the TCP/IP specification. SOLUTION: A wireless communication apparatus 120 includes: a wireless communication unit 212 which receives a packet from the side of an external server 160, transmits the packet to an information processor 110 and transmits an acknowledgement, to the packet, from the information processor to the side of the external server; an omission detection unit 216 for detecting whether a packet from the external server side is omitted; and a dummy packet transmission unit 218 for transmitting predetermined times a dummy packet for allowing, when a packet is omitted, a TCP layer of the information processor to recognize the omission as an unauthorized packet.
