ANTENNA MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact antenna module with excellent antenna sensitivity. SOLUTION: The antenna module 1 includes: a circuit mechanism part 9 such as a high-frequency circuit 9e, and a shield case 10 covering the circuit mechanism part 9 arranged on one surface 2a of a circuit board 2; a pair of connectors 4, 5 arranged at both side edge parts of the one surface 2a at the outside of the shield case 10; and the antenna module connected to an external circuit on a mother board 20 side through both the connectors 4, 5. On the other surface 2b of the circuit board 2, a grounding conductor layer 8 is formed in almost the whole region overlapping the circuit mechanism part 9, and a pair of antenna elements 6, 7 are arranged at both side edge parts of the other surface 2b overlapping the connectors 4, 5 without overlapping the circuit mechanism part 9.
