MONITORING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making a photographed image clear since an image photographed when the weather is bad or during the night is unclear and unidentifiable, and a countermeasure against a disaster, an accident, or a case is delayed when a monitoring area is photographed by a surveillance camera and is displayed on a monitor. SOLUTION: A surveillance camera device 100 is installed in a monitor area as shown in Fig.1, a subject 101 in the monitor area is photographed by the surveillance camera device 100, and a photography image 201 and photography position information are transmitted to a monitoring device 2 of a monitoring person via a network. Then, when the monitoring device 2 receives the photography image 201 and photography position information from the surveillance camera device 100, the monitoring device 2 composites the photography image 201 and a stored image 202 corresponding to the photography position information and creates a composited image 3. The stored image 202 is created by editing a static image, which is taken in advance, of the same monitor area as the photography image 201. The monitoring device 2 then displays the created composited image 3 on a monitor 400 of the monitoring device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
