Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rare gas discharge lamp device which is highly reliable on an electric connection section of a power supply section structure and is suitable for a good yield and easily manufactured, in the rare gas discharge lamp device wherein a plurality of rare gas discharge lamps are arranged in parallel and voltage is simultaneously applied to the plurality of rare gas discharge lamps. SOLUTION: In the rare gas discharge lamp device wherein the plurality of rare gas discharge lamps having a first external electrode and a second external electrode extending in the length direction of a bulb are arranged on an outer surface of the glass bulb and the plurality of rare gas discharge lamps are arranged in parallel, the external electrode is formed by a metal foil, the metal foil is formed by projecting outward in the length direction rather than the glass bulb, and the first external electrode of one rare gas discharge lamp and the first external electrode of the other rare gas discharge lamp are combined with a co-crimping member in an extending section range of the metal foil. Furthermore, a narrow width section is formed on the metal foil, and the first electrode and the second electrode are combined with the co-crimping member at the narrow width section.
