ELECTRIC BULB WITH BASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric bulb with bases, which is excels in productivity and can be manufactured at high yield. SOLUTION: The electric bulb 10 with bases include a sealing bulb 12 from ends of which lead lines 14 are extracted, and bases 30, which are formed in a bottomed tubular shape having one open end and the other closed end, are fitted in the ends of the sealing bulb 12, and are connected with the lead lines 14. Each of the bases 30 includes: a slit 37, which penetrates the bottom portion 32 of each of the bases 30 and through which each of the lead lines 14 is inserted; and a pair of pressing pieces 40, which are bent, such that both side edges facing each other with the slit 37 therebetween open outside from the bottom portion 32. The two longitudinal ends of the pair of pressing pieces are provided with folded sections 42, where the pair of pressing pieces 40 are bent inward and a counter gap S between the pair of pressing pieces 40 becomes smaller, as going toward the longitudinal end edges.
