SHEET FEEDING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device with enhanced separation effect between sheets by blowing air, without moving an air blowing position in a sheet stacking direction or without moving a sheet supporting means. SOLUTION: The sheet feeding device includes: a sheet storage part 17 storing sheets 23 in a stacked state; a sheet feeding unit 18 sequentially feeding the sheets 23 stored in the sheet storage part 17; an air blowing unit blowing air to edges of the sheets 23 stored in the sheet storage part 17 from a nozzle 19A; a lifting height regulating member 24 abutting on the topmost surface of the sheet lifted by the blowing of air from the air blowing unit to regulate the lifting height of the sheet; and a moving means moving an abutting part of the lifting height regulating member 24 abutting on the topmost surface of the sheet in the sheet stacking direction Z.
