MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR CYLINDRICAL PEN OF FOUNTAIN PEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for forming a metallic cylindrical body into a cylindrical pen of a mountain pen capable of manufacturing without many steps, shortening the manufacturing time for manufacturing one pen compared with a conventional manufacturing method, and reducing maintenance for wear of a processing apparatus or a tool. SOLUTION: The metallic cylindrical body 2 as a processing material is manufactured having a tip end side 3 formed to be tapered, and a splitting and opening adjustment part 4 of a face formed at a curvature larger than that of the cylindrical body 2 provided on a one side portion of the tip end side 3. The cylindrical body 2 is formed by forming an extending piece 14 extending in the axial direction of the cylindrical body 2 in a connected shape on a tip end 13a of a pen tip 13 by cutting off an extra portion. The extending piece 14 is cut in a substantially U shape configured of a tip end cut part 16, and side cut parts 18a, 18b and removed by press working to form the cylindrical pen 1 of the fountain pen.
