Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for measuring an amount of perspiration which measures the amount of perspiration with respect to a specific ecrine gland with high sensitivity. SOLUTION: The method for measuring the amount of perspiration, which measures the amount of perspiration from the specific ecrine gland distributed in the palm of a patient, includes a step of measuring the amount of perspiration existing inside the gland while the sweat pores of the ecrine gland close. In this case, it is preferable to measure the amount of perspiration by analyzing the OCT image of the ecrine gland. This attains measurement of sweating states caused by mental perspiration and gustatory perspiration which are difficult to measure by a conventional perspiration meter by a wide measurement range.
