ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that, if the whole of a rotary electric machine is enclosed by a soundproof cover, a space for installing the cover is required in the surroundings of the rotary electric machine and a rack for installing the cover is also needed and that, although the cover reduces noises outside the cover, a machine inspector entering the cover may be exposed to a large noise because the inspector has to enter the inside of the cover to inspect the machine. SOLUTION: A power generator includes a stator frame, having a stator core with built-in stator coils in its inside, and a rotor with built-in rotor coils that rotates oppositely to the stator frame and the stator core. The power generator is also provided with a soundproof plate fixed to each soundproof-plate mounting seat welded on the external surface of the stator frame with bolts and nuts. An elastic body (a gasket) is provided at a contact part between each soundproof-plate mounting seat and each soundproof plate. A vibration-proof rubber seat is provided at a contact part between each soundproof plate and each nut. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
