DEMODULATION DEVICE AND DEMODULATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a demodulation device and a demodulating method capable of correctly demodulating a signal even when an interference wave and noise are interfered. SOLUTION: A DSP (Digital Signal Processor) 40 in the demodulation device extracts an IQ signal of a frequency deviation modulation mode from a received radio signal and supplies the IQ signal to a PC 60. The PC 60 uses a CIC (Cascaded Integrated Combinatorial) filter 61 to sample the IQ signal supplied from the DSP 40 at a higher sampling rate. Then, the PC 60 performs by a filter bank 62, FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) processing on the basis of the sampling rate and a new numerical value of FFT points a plurality of times, and demodulates the IQ signal of a frequency deviation modulation mode.
