SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of Bi2223 oxide superconducting wire rods is characterized as providing a filling step of filling precursor powder into a metal tube consisting of silver or silver alloy having a plurality of nearly regular hexagonal cross-sectional through-holes which are arranged in a honeycomb shape in the cross-section of the tube perpendicular to a length direction, a drawing step of drawing the metallic tube filled with the precursor powder, a rolling step of rolling the drawn metallic tube, and a heat-treating step of heat-treating the rolled metallic tube.
