Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular running support apparatus that can control a running support means for supporting vehicle running and an information means for informing an occupant of the signal state of traffic signals with the use of the same imaging means. SOLUTION: While a vehicle CA runs, a traffic lane LA for departure warning is image-processed from an image processing area A1 captured by a CCD camera 2, and when the vehicle CA approaches a signal S, the traffic lane image processing is switched to an image processing area A2 for signal state information related to signal information about the signal S.
