OPTICAL WAVEGUIDE FLEX RESISTANCE TESTING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide flex resistance testing machine capable of evaluating flex resistance of an optical waveguide. SOLUTION: The testing machine includes: a movable plate (first support) 1 provided with a fixing part 1a for fixing one end of a bent optical waveguide W1and extended in one direction; a stationary plate (second support) 2 provided with a fixing part 2a for fixing the other end of the bent optical waveguide W1and extended in the same direction as the movable plate 1 in a state facing the movable plate 1; a driving device 3 reciprocating the movable plate 1 parallel to the extending direction of the stationary plate 2; a light source 4 making light incident on the end face on one end of the optical waveguide W1; and a sensor 5 for detecting the light emitted from the end face of the other end of the optical waveguide W1.
