CLEANING DEVICE, PROCESS CARTRIDGE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device, a process cartridge, and an image forming apparatus in which a sealing member sufficiently prevents the scattering of a toner. SOLUTION: The cleaning device includes: cleaning members 19a and 19b for cleaning off an untransferred toner remaining on an image carrier 17; and a sealing member 19d disposed upstream of the cleaning members 19a and 19b in the running direction of the image carrier 17 and slid over the image carrier 17. The sealing member 19d includes: a first flexible member 19d1 stuck to a support member 19c so that its tip sticks out, and is disposed separate from the image carrier 17; and a second flexible member 19d2 reduced in rigidity than the first flexible member 19d1, stuck to the surface of the first flexible member 19d1, and disposed in contact with the image carrier 17.
