Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for display which is inexpensive and can suppress the deterioration in visibility of a display image caused by to metallic glossiness of a conductive mesh. SOLUTION: The filter for display has the conductive mesh on a substrate and has a surface layer on the conductive mesh, wherein the conductive mesh includes a metal layer (A) made of predetermined metal and a metal layer (B) made of a metal different from the predetermined metal or made of a metallic compound in the order from the substrate side, a thickness of the metal layer (A) is 0.5 to 4 μm, a thickness of the metal layer (B) is 0.005 to 0.1 μm, and the surface layer has a rugged structure originated from the rugged structure of the conductive mesh and contains a coloring agent.
