MAGNETIC SENSOR AND MAGNETIC SENSOR DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic sensor and a magnetic sensor device which facilitate setting of a switching position and the distance between switching positions according to the intended use without necessity of a complicated design. SOLUTION: A switch device 1 includes: a magnet 3 for generating a magnetic field; and an MR sensor 5A disposed on a line forming an angle of 45° at a first switching position 21. The MR sensor 5A is configured so that an output from a full bridge circuit formed by magnetic resistance elements M1 to M4 constituting the MR sensor 5A is 0 when the magnet 3 is at the first switching position 21. With this configuration, it is possible to easily determine the arrangement based on the switching position.
