Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque converter in which oil for cooling can be sufficiently supplied to a stator brake provided in the inner peripheral side of a stator. SOLUTION: The torque converter includes the stator brake 8, and a hydraulically operated lock-up clutch 10. The stator brake 8 brakes the rotation of the stator 7. A stator brake cooling oil supply circuit 9 is provided to supply cooling oil to the stator brake 8. Further, a lock-up working oil supply circuit 11 is provided independent of the brake cooling oil supply circuit 9 to supply operating oil to the lock-up clutch. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
