Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact, low-cost display device capable of imaging a display image having depth feel through the use of a half mirror. SOLUTION: A display plate 15 having a three-layer structure is constituted by depositing first and second half mirror layers 17, 18 on the front and rear sides of a visible light-transmissive substrate 16. A printing paper 19 with outline-characters written thereon is disposed behind the display plate 15, and the paper is sandwiched between the display plate 15 and a pressure plate 20, and then, they are fixed to a holder frame 12.
