Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical package which prevents the occurrence of wrinkles, warpages or bends of an optical element, meets a need for reduction in the thickness, and has sufficient optical characteristics, to provide a method for manufacturing the same, and to provide a backlight and a liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: The inclusive package 2 includes one or more optical elements 24 in a film or sheet form, a planar support 23 supporting the one or more optical elements, and a packaging member 22, in a film or sheet form wrapping the one or more optical elements and the support. The one or more optical elements and the support constitute a laminate 21, and the laminate 21 is tightly adhered to the packaging member 22. The packaging member 22 has shrinking properties or stretching properties and contains a binder and a filler, with the difference in the SP between the binder and the filler being not more than 1.0.
