VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT PUMP DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement pump device suppressed in response delay when increasing a pump discharge rate. SOLUTION: The variable displacement pump device increases and decreases an eccentricity rate with respect to a rotor of a cam ring by controlling the drive of a solenoid unit according to a steering angle speed and a vehicle speed, and varies a peculiar discharge rate which is a discharge flow rate per rotation of the rotor. When the steering angle speed and the vehicle speed are varied to decrease the peculiar discharge rate, an inertia force when the cam ring moves in the direction of decreasing the peculiar discharge rate is reduced by delaying the decrease of a current supplied to the solenoid unit, and impediment to the movement of a cam ring in the direction of increasing the peculiar discharge rate by the inertia force is prevented.
