Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor which prevents a shaft member from flexing by attraction that works between a magnetic body and the shaft member, in a linear motor which includes a magnetic body for improving thrust. SOLUTION: In the shaft member 1 of the linear motor, magnetic poles of N poles and S poles are formed alternately in its axial direction. It includes magnetic bodies 4 and 6 for improving thrust, at least either outside or inside a coil unit 3 which surrounds the shaft member 1. It includes a slide bearing 7, which guides the shaft member 1 to take a relatively rectilinear motion in the axial direction of the shaft member 1 to the coil unit 3, between the inside of the coil unit 3 and the outside of the shaft member 1.
