Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce resistance, in relation to an electric double layer capacitor used for assists or the like of various types of power sources. SOLUTION: This electric double layer capacitor includes: an element wherein a plurality of layers of anode electrodes and cathode electrodes each formed with a polarizing electrode layer on a collector provided with an electrode extraction part at one end are laminated by interposing separators therebetween by setting the respective electrode extraction parts in the same direction; an electrolyte impregnated into the element; an anode terminal 2 and a cathode terminal 3 respectively connected to the electrode extraction parts of the element; an interior film sealing the element with one ends of the anode terminal 2 and the cathode terminal 3 exposed; and an armoring body 5 covering them. By a structure where the anode terminal 2 and the cathode terminal 3 are respectively bent on the same surface of the interior film and arranged in directions opposite to each other, work efficiency and dimensional accuracy are improved, cost is reduced, and resistance and height can be reduced by simple structure.
