HEAT DISSIPATION SYSTEM FOR COMPUTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat dissipation system for computers, which can harmonize the processing capability of a processor with noise by rotation of a heat dissipating fan so as to provide a user with a maximum comfort level. SOLUTION: The heat dissipation system includes a processor 11 whose processing capability can be changed. A heat dissipating fan 33 and a temperature sensor 31 are provided in a casing of a computer. A rotation speed setting portion 63 is configured to change a rotation speed of the heat dissipating fan in a stepwise manner based on a threshold temperature and a measurement temperature measured by the temperature sensor. Performance control portions 105, 107 are configured to reduce the processing capability of the processor based on the measurement temperature and the threshold temperature so as to allow the processor to process a part of work to be processed by the processor in a subsequent period of time. As a result thereof, the peak of the measurement temperature is shifted to the subsequent period of time, enabling suppression of increase of the rotation speed of the heat dissipating fan.
