POLYGON MIRROR SCANNER MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of fixing a polygon mirror scanner motor on an equipment keeping the right angle accuracy when fixing the scanner motor on the equipment while securing the right angle accuracy between the shaft of the polygon mirror scanner motor of which the shaft is directly fixed on a mounting plate and the mounting plate. SOLUTION: The circumference of a connecting part 116 on which a shaft 111 is fixed is projected to the side opposite to the side on which a stator core 112 is disposed from a mounting plate 108 which serves as a mounting part of the motor onto the equipment to form a swelling part 109 having a cylindrical envelope face coaxial with the shaft 111, and the swelling part 109 is used as a centering and positioning part of the optical box 120 of an LBP on which the polygon mirror scanner motor is mounted and the shaft 111 of the motor.
