FIXING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that stably obtains a high-quality image by inexpensively solving a problem of the irregularity of an image caused by the scattering of a toner by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The fixing device 9 includes a heating roller (heating member) 23 and a pressure roller (pressure member) 24 rotating while abutting on each other, and a guide member 29 guiding paper to a fixing nip N formed by abutting on the heating roller 23 and the pressure roller 24, and fixes a toner image on the paper by heating and pressuring the toner image carried on the paper guided by the guide member 29 to be supplied to the fixing nip N. A downstream side inclined surface 29b whose trailing end comes close to the fixing nip N across a tangential line T drawn at an entrance of the fixing nip N on the outer periphery of the heating roller 23 from the heating roller 23 side to the pressure roller 24 side is formed in a downstream in a paper conveying direction of the guide member 29.
