ROPE OIL CAKE REMOVAL DEVICE OF TRACTION MACHINE SHEAVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a distance between a scraper and a traction machine sheave constant, while rotating the traction machine sheave. SOLUTION: This rope oil cake removal device of the traction machine sheave is located in the traction machine sheave 1 of a roper type elevator, having on the periphery a plurality of grooves 1a, respectively wound with a plurality of ropes 2 for removing a rope oil cake 3 sticking in the grooves 1a, and has the scraper 5, arranged in respective grooves 1a and having a plurality of rope oil cake removing claws 5a that are kept in noncontact with these grooves 1a; a scraper holding means for integrally holding the scraper 5 by the traction machine sheave 1, while rotating the traction machine sheave 1; and a support means for movably supporting the scraper 5, in a direction along the rotary shaft 1b of the traction machine sheave 1.
