DOOR TRIM STRUCTURE OF AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door trim structure which can make compatible the maintenance of a shape of a shelf of a door trim at a normal time and impact absorbing performance at a collision, in the door trim of an automobile having the shelf which is protrusively arranged in a cabin at the side of an occupant seating position in the door trim. SOLUTION: A vertically penetrating opening 11d is formed at a shelf 11b, and a plurality of bridging parts 11h, 11i for connecting right and left edges 11e, 11f of the opening 11d are formed in a space therebetween in the longitudinal direction. A part of the bridging part 11h out of the bridging parts 11h, 11i is inclined with respect to the vehicle width direction so that an outer end in the vehicle width direction is located forward of an inner end in the vehicle width direction, and the remaining bridging part 11i is inclined in the vehicle width direction so that the outer end in the vehicle width direction is located behind the inner end in the vehicle width direction.
