TANDEM CONTINUOUS PAPER PRINTER SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a tandem continuous paper printer system as a system by reducing waste paper in the case when paper jam or the like occurs between a second printer or a first printer and the second printer during paper loading or printing, by reducing the number of steps of filling paper operation by an operator, and by automatically recognizing a physical page number N1 between the first printer and the second printer. SOLUTION: The system has a means for feeding paper asynchronously to the first printer and the second printer in paper filling, a means for printing a mark for recognizing the page number for every page size unit determined in advance by the first printer, a means for storing the number corresponding to the mark printed last by the first printer, and a means for recognizing the mark by the second printer, a means for storing the number corresponding to the mark recognized last by the second printer, a means for calculating the physical page number N1 between the first printer and the second printer from the number corresponding to the mark printed last by the first printer and the number corresponding to the mark recognized last by the second printer, and a means for storing the calculated physical number N1.
