Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothen a surface to be machined of a workpiece, in machining the workpiece with a laser beam, by vibrating an irradiation position of the laser beam at an amplitude along the irradiation direction of the laser beam. SOLUTION: A laser beam machining head 1 is provided with a fiber connector 10 in which the laser beam is guided through an optical fiber cable. There are further provided a collimator lens 26 which parallelizes the laser beam emitted in a diffused state by the fiber connector 10 and a condensing lens 41 which converges light passed through the collimator lens 26. The workpiece is irradiated with the beam converged by the condensing lens 41 to form an image. The collimator lens 26 is set in a collimator lens case 12 which is freely movable in the irradiation direction of the laser beam inside the laser beam machining head 1. The collimator lens case 12 is connected to an ultrasonic vibration body 51 that vibrates along the laser beam irradiation direction. By the vibration of this collimator lens 26, the focal position of the laser beam vibrates at an amplitude along the optical axis direction of the laser beam. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
