DESK FOR LEARNING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desk for learning in which a lower shelf arranged in a space in the lower and rear part of a desk top in a desk body and stored is effectively and conveniently used in accordance with a usage environment while having excellent outer appearance. SOLUTION: A storage space 13 where the rear surface and the right and left side surfaces are continuously opened 22, 23, is formed in the lower and rear part of the desk top 4 in the desk body 2. The lower shelf 14 is formed to have a width being the same as that of the desk body, and is formed from right and left sideboards 17, 17; a rear surface board 18 connecting the right and left sideboards; and shelf boards 20 disposed between the sideboards. The lower shelf is used by selective arrangement between at least two positions, i.e., a clogged position where the openings of the rear surface and the right and left side surfaces of the storage space are substantially clogged with the rear surface board and right and left sideboards of the lower shelf and a projecting position where at least a part of the lower shelf projects toward the right and left direction of the storage space.
